  Okay so it's your 1970's San Francisco​ kind of "chinese" food - chicken balls, chop Suey, you know - Archie Bunker's idea of a chinese meal? But they do it well. I crave this stuff once in a while and I don't want roasted suckling pigs, dim sum and other assorted animals hanging upsidedown on a coat wire a la Spadina Avenue that you would find in a more authentic Chinese restaurant. Staff are very friendly and greet you cheerfully every visit and the hot and sour soup is to die for on a chilly day. Portions are huge but I have to deduct one star for peccadillos such as never including hot sauce or soya sauces (they're available at the side counter 'cept it would be nice to be reminded when picking up our orders), the occasional forgetting to add spring or egg rolls we're entitled to as part of the meal as well as the infrequent missing hot and sour soup (or two) when you are placing larger orders. Then again, half the fun of ordering from a chinese restaurant is figuring out what you're missing! They're fast too - they can cook up a dinner for four in less than ten minutes. I never wait long. A little more attention to detail would be perfect. And "I wasn't working that day" is no way to resolve smallish problems with your last order.

  Menu is a bit confusing but they have a wide variety of Asian food on the menu. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Enjoyed the vegetables with steamed rice.

  When I don't want to cook of if I have a lot of people to feed, this is the place to go! Quantities are unbelievable. The dinner for 2 is really for 4 or 5 people. The food is very tasty and the variety of things to order is quite good. Also, they are fast! Especially if you order for pickup.

  Mr. Dumpling is my go-to place for Chinese takeout. The food is always yummy and the restaurant staff is friendly. My favourite dish to order is the stir fry beef ho fun :)

  I don't normally order Chinese take out but when I do, it's definitely from Mr. Dumpling. Their service and quality of food is friendly and consistently good. Prices are reasonable and the restaurant including washroom is clean!
