- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Well I'm trying to be level headed while writing this for I am still very upset about the experience I had here on Monday. It seems like this beach has many visitors who are disrespectful, rude and no qualms about leering at underage girls in bathing suits! Being their culture to blame I don't know... possibly. So mother's and fathers of daughter's be weary before letting your child or teen go here! Quite disgusted at what I saw and also experienced, one group of young teens actually left after the pack of guys were licking their lips and making disgusting jester's at them. I tried to intervene since they did not have parents there and they didn't seem to speak English or just acted like they didn't for as I walked away they made lewd comments about my "assets". I didn't realize I had to cover my whole body while trying to enjoy a day with my family here or else suffer the stares of gross, sexuality aggressive and objectifying "guys". Mind you, these 'guys" were 35-60 years old with a large group of family but I dare not call them men for real men would not act like that! I wish the park employees would do something about this indecent behavior but I guess they don't expect to tell grown guys how to act decently. Besides this awful experience the beach has not changed much, still gravel like sand and murky water that leaves you feeling like you need to go shower asap. Will not be returning.By Malarie Barrett, March 28, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆We came to hike and it was pretty disappointing, no nice views not even on top of the escarpment. Highway noise throughout. Not many hiking trails. It has a nice mountain bike trail system thought, and lots of park space for picnics. There is a canoe rental, but the lake is very small. You also pay to get in. I'd much prefer going to a provincial or national park. And there are much nicer hiking trails around Toronto.By Ina Anreiter, February 03, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Pros: 1. Good hiking trails 2. Paddle boats and canoe rentals available 3. This place is great if you like photography 4. I saw a lot of people bike around the hill side.(So it's bike-able) Cons: Trails are not clearly marked(physically) so it can get really confusing. On Google maps(virtual) you need to be alert when making turns on trails since you could walk right past the direction you want to walk towards.By Wolston Lobo, January 29, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Very nice, clean and safe place to bring the family for rowing, swimming and relaxing, there are really nice views. The only thing is that it's next to the road and you can hear a lot of cars and trucks. But it's very nice!By Marco Ar, November 19, 2016
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Gorgeous area, but the trails are poorly mapped, and barely blazed at all. It's incredibly easy(even for someone with a lot of trail experience, like myself) to unknowingly wind up on the many "bikes only" trails. Which can be pretty dangerous. I really wish they would remap, and properly blaze their trails.By jeremy tozzi, October 24, 2016
